DAILY RATES AND HUNTING PACKAGES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Services of a licensed professional hunter, tracker and skinner
- Full board and accommodation, all meals and refreshments, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and daily laundry service
- Pick up and drop off at Port Elizabeth airport
- Field preparation of trophies and delivery to taxidermist
- Hunting licenses and permits
DAILY RATES AND HUNTING PACKAGES DO NOT INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Trophy fees (packages include aforementioned animals)
- Firearms and ammunition
- International and domestic air travel
- Dipping, packing, administration and shipping costs of trophies
- Gratuities
- 14% VAT on daily rate only (not VAT on package hunts or trophy fees)
TERMS OF BUSINESS:
- $1000 per deposit per hunter and $ 300 per observer to confirm dates for a hunt
- The balance to be paid in full on day of departure
- Wounded animals must be paid for in full
- Payments: cash, travellers' cheque or bank guaranteed cheque. Credit cards are accepted but a 5% service fee will be charged extra
CANCELLATION:
- No refunds
- In case of cancellation, we are willing to schedule alternative dates that are mutually acceptable within the same year
Note: Rifles can be rented at $100 for the duration of the hunt. Ammunition per box of twenty at cost price.
Shotguns can be rented at $30 per day. Ammunition per box of twenty five at cost price.

Insurance
Considering the fact that hunting is a potentially dangerous sport, clients must be aware of the fact that there is always certain risks involved in hunting with Mayogi Safaris . It is our recommendation to obtain insurance for the following: emergency medical evacuation, accidental death, major medical disability, trip cancellation, damage to or loss of equipment or trophies hunted.
Non Hunting Excursions
Non hunters are welcome to accompany hunters out in the bush .It is however important that non hunters wear suitable clothing should they decide to be part of the hunting party.
There are quite a few other options available to those who choose not to participate in the hunting activities:
Addo National Park: Home to about 500 Elephants and also rare species like Cape Buffalo, Lion, and Black Rhino. About 45 minutes drive from Mayogi.
Port Elizabeth: Numerous Shopping Malls, The Boardwalk Casino Complex, Bayworld Oceonarium and Museum as well as some excellent Restaurants.
About 60 minutes drive from Mayogi.
Graaff Reinet - The fourth oldest town in South Africa with a number of museums and historic sights. This town is nearly surrounded by the Karoo Nature Reserve. About 90 minutes drive from Mayogi.
The Garden Route - Stormsriver Mouth and Natures Valley Reserve. Beautiful beaches, high cliffs and indigenous forests are just a taste of this paradise.
There are a number of Private Game Reserves in the Eastern Cape: Shamwari, Blaauwbosch, and Schotia just to mention a few. Most of these reserves are host to the "Big Five" and provide first class service and lodging.
There are plenty well maintained Golf Clubs situated in and around Port Elizabeth. Even smaller towns like Kirkwood, Hankey and Humansdorp have well layed out Golf tracks for those interested in a round or two.
Although we would gladly assist our clients in planning a bigger tour, this is not our field. We use the services of reputable and licensed Professional Tour Operatour in order to make sure our clients are in good hands and well taken care of.
